A domain extension has naming and practical implications, but it is not a ranking certificate. Evaluate audience recognition, registration conditions and the existing business history.
Check the actual meaning
Review current registration rules for the extension you are considering. Some have eligibility restrictions or geographic context. Do not assume that a restricted suffix automatically receives better search positions.
Test the business use
Consider spelling, email, customer recognition, renewal charges and account control. A familiar-looking extension is not proof that a website is safe, and an unusual one is not proof of fraud.
Avoid unnecessary migration
An established domain may carry links and customer references that require careful handling during a rename. Choose the address for a sound business reason, with appropriate redirects and verification. The extension alone cannot promise conversions.
