A useful keyword research process turns customer questions into a clear page plan. These four steps help you move beyond collecting phrases in a spreadsheet.

1. List the real questions

Start with sales conversations, product questions, support requests and existing search information. Write down the problem behind each phrase. “Can you repair this model?” tells you more about a customer’s need than an isolated keyword score. Keep suggestions relevant to what the business can actually provide.

2. Group by intent

Separate definitions, comparisons, service enquiries and product requirements. Look at the kinds of information someone needs to make progress. Closely related wording may belong on one useful page. A guide and a quotation page can support each other without repeating the same copy.

3. Choose the right page

Check your existing website before planning another URL. Record the main topic, intended reader, supporting questions and next step. Use demand estimates and competing results as context, then consider the information and effort needed to produce a genuinely useful answer.

4. Publish, measure and refine

Review the page on mobile, check its links and confirm that important text is accessible. After release, compare relevant Search Console queries and useful enquiries with your baseline. If the audience is wrong, reconsider the intent or offer before repeating the keyword more often. Keep a dated research log so later changes have a reason.
