Content revised 21 October 2026.
A video should make an accurate promise and deliver it to a suitable audience. Improve the subject, packaging and viewing experience before focusing on a view-count target.
Match the title and thumbnail
Use a clear subject and permitted imagery that reflects the video. Explain the value early. An exaggerated hook can attract a click while disappointing the viewer.
Review audience response
Use the appropriate channel evidence to inspect discovery and viewing behaviour. Compare similar formats and useful periods. A short video and a detailed tutorial do not need identical length or retention expectations.
Choose legitimate promotion
Share relevant work where it fits and consider eligible platform promotion with a defined goal. Avoid artificial views or engagement schemes. Neither paid delivery nor a high counter guarantees customers, monetisation or organic recommendations.
