Choose a video idea because it helps your audience understand something useful. A product demonstration, tutorial or business introduction needs a clear task before it needs a catchy title.
Match the format to the question
Show how a product works, explain a service process, answer a recurring customer question or introduce the people responsible for delivery. Use approved examples and permitted footage. An attractive scene is not evidence of a real result.
Make the opening useful
State what viewers will learn early and keep the title and thumbnail consistent with the video. Avoid an unsupported statistic as a hook. The original predictions about 2020 video traffic and fixed time-on-site increases are not current evidence for your campaign.
Choose the length around the explanation
Remove repetition and give complex steps enough time. There is no universal two-minute rule that fits every purpose or platform. Add appropriate captions and a readable supporting explanation where useful.
Publish and reuse thoughtfully
Embed the video on a relevant page without hiding important written information. Adapt an approved transcript, audio extract or short clip for another audience when it remains accurate. Review each platform’s current specifications instead of relying on old IGTV instructions.
Measure the business task
Watch time, completion and clicks answer different questions from a qualified enquiry. Review the intended next step and verify the implementation. A video can help people without being eligible for a video search feature or guaranteeing a citation.
