B2B and B2C SEO share technical foundations, but the information needed for a purchase can differ. Plan around the actual buying process rather than a rigid label.
Map the decision makers
A business purchase may involve technical, financial and operational reviewers. A consumer purchase may be simple or highly considered. Do not assume that every B2B journey is long or every B2C journey is immediate.
Choose the page evidence
B2B buyers may need specifications, integration scope or procurement details. Consumer pages may need product options, availability and fulfilment conditions. Both need accurate claims and a dependable next step.
Research intent
Use search language to understand the question and map it to a useful destination. A broad term is not automatically wrong, and a long phrase is not automatically easy to rank. Check relevance and the business’s ability to serve the need.
Measure the appropriate stage
Separate a qualified opportunity from a sale and a product-page visit from a completed order. Keep the reporting aligned with how the business actually converts suitable interest.
