Content revised 21 October 2026.

A paid theme should fit the content and functions the website needs. Check current licensing, support and maintenance terms before judging the purchase from its demo.

Review the requirements

List page types, navigation, media and essential integrations. The original article named Oshine, Divi and Uncode in a 2018 selection. Those names are historical examples, not current comparative recommendations or feature guarantees.

Test the actual build

Use representative desktop and mobile pages with real content. Review editing, accessibility and metadata ownership. A long feature list can introduce work the project does not need.

Check ongoing responsibility

Confirm renewals, support limits, update access and what happens if the licence ends. Keep a backup and staging test before a theme change. Paying for a theme does not purchase speed, customers or rankings by itself.
