Content revised 21 October 2026.
Choose services around the customer journey and the work your team can support. A new framework or a trend name is useful only when it helps make a better decision.
Review the experience
Trace discovery, comparison, enquiry, fulfilment and ongoing support. The original article used the ideas of experience, exchange, availability and advocacy. Treat those as planning lenses rather than proof that every business needs every channel.
Choose suitable communication
Offer contact routes the audience can use and the team can answer. Automation may help with routine questions, but it needs accurate content and a handover for unresolved issues. Do not repeat unverified chatbot performance figures as expected results.
Compare deliverables
Specify content, design, campaign setup, website changes and reporting separately. Check account ownership, approvals and the costs outside the management fee.
Set practical review points
Agree which completed actions and business outcomes can be measured. Keep limitations visible and adjust the scope when evidence supports it. A conversational tone or a new channel cannot guarantee growth.
