A blog can support different business models, but publishing does not guarantee income. Define the audience, offer and costs before relying on a revenue target.
Choose a suitable model
A blog may support services, products, subscriptions, eligible advertising or affiliate referrals. Each has its own approval, fulfilment and disclosure responsibilities. Avoid promoting a product solely because its commission looks attractive.
Account for the work
Research, writing, editing, hosting and customer response take resources. A traffic total does not establish profit. Keep estimated income separate from money received and account for reversals or costs where relevant.
Build useful material
Answer real questions with dependable information and maintain changing facts. Use appropriate policies and platform rules for the model selected. No posting frequency or keyword formula guarantees a monthly earning.
