Content revised 21 October 2026.

Strong positions on a few queries do not exhaust a website’s opportunities. Review relevance, search appearance and customer journeys before trying to create more pages.

Inspect the query mix

A page can rank well for one term while answering related questions poorly. Use appropriate search evidence to identify gaps that fit the existing purpose. Estimated demand is context, not a promise of additional visits.

Review the click expectation

Compare titles and summaries with the actual answer. Make the promise clearer and more accurate. A higher CTR created by exaggeration can bring unsuitable visitors and does not establish business progress.

Improve useful connections

Link related guides and services where the reader has a real next question. Consider relevant distribution or a distinct new resource when it adds value. Do not multiply near-identical pages to collect phrase variations.

Measure the whole outcome

Compare suitable traffic with verified enquiries or other intended actions. More visits are not automatically better if the audience shifts away from the offer. Keep content and promotion decisions reviewable.
