Content revised 21 October 2026.
A clear answer may help people understand a local service, but Google decides whether to show a featured snippet. There is no special markup that guarantees the placement.
Choose a real question
Use questions customers genuinely ask about the service, such as preparation or how an assessment works. Answer directly, then explain conditions. Do not create pages only to repeat minor variations of the same question.
Make the explanation dependable
Use facts the business can approve and maintain. Local hours, coverage and prices should agree with the actual operation. A concise answer is not useful if it leaves out a condition that changes the decision.
Support the whole page
Use clear headings and ordinary accessible text. Keep relevant links and the next step nearby. Structured data should describe supported visible content rather than be added as a supposed snippet switch.
Measure in context
Review suitable search queries, clicks and useful enquiries. A search feature may change without the page becoming worse. Focus on the quality and accessibility of the answer rather than promising a position.
