Content revised 21 October 2026.
A trending topic is useful when it fits your audience and you can add a dependable answer. Publishing frequently without that fit can produce a busy but unhelpful archive.
Start with audience questions
Use customer enquiries, product decisions and recurring misunderstandings to build a topic queue. Review search demand as context rather than a command to publish every popular phrase.
Choose the right format
An honest product review needs actual evidence. A tutorial needs a process the reader can follow. An interview needs an approved contributor and attributable statements. An infographic needs accurate data and readable labels.
Add something useful
Explain a distinction, demonstrate a task or supply a relevant example. Rephrasing a competing article does not automatically create original value. Record sources and the facts that may need updating later.
Publish at a maintainable pace
Choose a schedule the team can research, approve and maintain. There is no required weekly posting count or instant ranking reward. A smaller useful queue can serve the audience better than repeated trend summaries.
