Content revised 21 October 2026.
A useful website brief starts with what customers need to find and do. Design should make the offer clear while preserving valuable content, media and established URLs.
Inventory the current website
Record important pages, videos, images, forms and integrations. Identify what works as well as what causes difficulty. A redesign should not quietly remove the original mobile video or an established enquiry route.
Plan the page hierarchy
Give the homepage, service pages, articles and contact page distinct roles. Use clear headings and relevant internal links. Keep strategic keyword topics in the appropriate pages without repeating all of them everywhere.
Check mobile early
Review the header, right-side menu, readable text and contact controls with real content. Test the next step and ensure important information remains available across desktop and mobile.
Agree delivery
Specify implementation, content approval and safe acceptance checks. Include account ownership and maintenance responsibilities. A visual redesign is an opportunity to improve use, not a guaranteed ranking reset.
