Content revised 21 October 2026.

A blog’s search visibility can be limited by access, indexing, relevance or competition. Diagnose the actual issue before interpreting it as Google “disliking” the site.

Verify the URL

Use Search Console URL Inspection where access is available. A site: query is not a complete indexing audit. Check the public response, canonical and robots instructions for the important article.

Review the answer

Does the article resolve a real question with accurate useful information? Compare the title and visible explanation. A longer article, a more casual voice or a repeated keyword does not automatically improve relevance.

Check the mobile experience

Read the page and follow its links on a phone. Keep important desktop content and media available on mobile. Old standalone testing-tool instructions may no longer match the current available tools.

Choose a focused next step

Repair confirmed faults and keep a change record. Search inclusion and timing are not guaranteed, even after verification or a sitemap submission. Competitor research can inform the brief without establishing the cause of every missing result.
